1. I think its a good deal.
2. I've seen worse than this that look like new now .
3. The fact that its aluminum is in your favor and much easier/cheaper to repair.
4. There is a lot of info here on the TC home page in the 'projects' post re: caulks and such .
At the end of the day, I think you have a very solid camper on your truck.
