Picked up a couple of saws, some wood, and got into it today.

Didn't take a ton of photos as I went. I meant to, but that damned sealant that is everywhere seemed to always be on my fingers.

On each corner I peeled the siding back and kept cutting until I found good wood, and then started rebuilding. I have no experience with wood, so have been having a good time and learning a bit as I go.
