500$! What a steal! I bought one with much more rot for $600 and only the stove works.
When i rebuilt mine, i pulled the skin away and replaced the rotted wood piece for piece. I also added gussets here and there, lots of glue and metal plates with threaded rod on the mount points.

Makes life a lot easier. Especially in tight areas.
After rebuilding those corners too,I would cover them in something like ice and water or vycor, then get some diamondplate aluminum bent up to gusset in the corners. Would probably look BA and add some strength.
