I didn't think about that. That would be a lot cleaner than grafting pvc into the damaged areas, and it could be integrated into the jack mounts pretty easy. We'll be cutting the jack mounts on a cnc waterjet table, so its possible this could be made very sexy..
Too bad I can't tig aluminum, that would look way better than doing it in steel. You've got me thinking.. time to make some phone calls.
