I loaded my camper up Monday so that I could drive around with it and make sure everything is kosher before hooking up 7,000 pound trailer and leaving town.
Everything is not kosher.
My truck has so much body roll and sway that I nearly come to a complete stop before corners.
I do some quick reading and find the A7200's would help this.. but i cant' get them today and I leave in the morning. Also, I have a hard time spending $200 on something that we use and throw away in the off-road world all the time.. so i head by the local toyshop to see whats in the junk bin.
$60 cash gets me 4 Rancho RS8204 bumpstops.
Pull the factory overload bumps out (and throw them under the back seat, just in case). Jack the camper up to unload the springs and throw these puppies in.
And off for a test drive.

Its like a whole new truck. I can't believe how very different it handled! Even walking around in side the camper loaded is more stable.
I still want to add a sway bar 'later', but shortly I'll be hooking the trailer up with confidence instead of waiting for that corner that rolls me... ;)
Was doing a brake job on the truck this weekend and noticed the rear bump on each side was coming apart. Touched one of them and it fell off. Worked great while it was loaded but it didn't really like it.
Ordered up a set of stableloads today. Lesson learned..
