I used a bed mount system on mine. The OBS had thick metal in the beds still, would not do it with a newer truck. Had an 8' Cascade, was about 3000 pounds ready to camp. 20k+ miles with that setup and new owner still using for a TC hauler. No issues. While I agree frame mount is best, don't discount bed mounting if you don't have a huge or heavy camper.
