I would not use the Fumoto because it can't be locked, too easy to have some jerk let your oil out.
I let my oil drain overnight. Then when I remove the filter the oil has siphoned down about 1/2" from the top and does not spill.
I don't "worry" about it!
I have no reason to spend the money on something that I can just use a wrench to remove and drain.
Sorry it bothers you so much that I have a different outlook on things than you do.
If not wanting to use a Fumoto bothers you this should put you over the edge!
