Both tires are priced the same, the Carlisle is a 10 ply and the Maxxis is an 8 ply. I currently have 8 ply. They supposedly have a fresh set of Maxxis on the way. we'll certainly confirm the dates when they show up.

True, but we do haul a show car on it a couple times a year so I really don't want the cheapest tire available either. I've been on the side of the highway a few times, no fun.
