Interesting idea. Probably wouldn't fly as these are often weekend trips so it outweighs the work of setting up the awning room. Good stuff, though - could work for others. :)
From what I understand it is not that big of an undertaking but good luck in your search. I have a feeling you will have to do a buildout on something to get everything you want.
