Diesel excursions are very rare, thus the price
Not really, not around here.
It's worth about 21, maybe 22 maximum.
I have a '97 F350 4 door diesel 4wd in pristine condition and I've been offered 20 cash. Not for sale at any price.
I'd want to see all the service records right away and make sure all the recalls were done and only then would I consider 21 or 22.
Of course $32k is a bit high, but, look, just on this forum, every "how do I haul a gaggle of kids and tow a big travel trailer". The answer always ends up, "find a 7.3 Excursion if you can....."
Totally different than your, actually dime a dozen, OBS powerstroke.
Either you're talking out your arse, or if there is some how a magic stash of clean rust free low mile 7.3 excursions in your back yard, I'm headed back to WI in a couple weeks. I'll buy a gn car hauler and come pick up 2 of em for $21k a piece and make 10 grand a piece the minute I unload them here in WA.
Do I think $30k is high for a 15 year old SUV? Sure, but supply and demand. Supply is zero and has been for a while.
My neighbor just bought a gasser Excursion. 120k, clean, nice wheels, nothing special, for like $23k! For a gasser! But if you have 5 kids and a camper, it's about the only vehicle that will do the job.
That beautiful 7.3L Excursion would sell for huge $ here in BC too, as do 7.3L Super Duties that are in that kind of condition. Most of the OBS trucks here are high mileage beaters unfortunately.
