Around here there are a lot of your vintage of trucks running around, so you shouldn't have a problem getting parts for a long time.

I'm a CSR at one of the large auto parts store chains. Last month a customer came in with a $800+ laundry list and we had over $600+ on the shelves and the remaining parts the following afternoon.
