2002 Thor Wanderer 255RK

I tried Thor for the owner's manual and they don't have one. I did print an manual for all the equipment but what I am looking for is general information. I am a first time trailer owner. How many gallons of fresh, grey and black water can I hold. How do you flush the fresh water system. How do you dump the grey and black water and does it need to be flushed out with fresh water. Is there something that needs to be added to black water for smell?
  • Hi back Las Vegas neighbor. Where is a good place to go in Nevada in October to camp and fish?
  • Besides the size of your tanks there should be tons of tips online on dumping and flushing your tanks. I have a trailer that has a black tank flush hook up on the back of the trailer. So when I get ready to dump the tanks I do black tank first then the flush, then the grey tank then I run some water down the sink and shower to flush the grey out. That's pretty much it. If you don't have a black water flush then you need to get a wand to put down the toilet to flush out the black tank. Oh and by the way hi Las Vegas neighbor.
  • I see that you are in Las Vegas. If your trailer is a local trailer it was probably bought at Johnny Walker RV. They are a very frendly dealer. They can probably answer your questions. Good Luck.
  • Yes I have tried the manufacturer and they don't have any information for a trailer that old. The original Thor closed down.
  • The "Owners Manual" for your trailer won't help much with anything like dumping tanks but it may have the capacity of the tanks listed.
Have you tried contacting the Mfg?

There are threads on this Forum that deal with dumping, flushing, sanitizing fresh tank, and keeping tanks odor-free. A little searching should turn up many of these.
