Thanks SoCal for the gear correction. The stock from the factory tire for my truck is the 265/70/17. It has a front leveling kit on it, I am going to put 265's back on when these tires wear out. I figured the tires affect it some but they are only 1.5" taller than stock so wasn't expecting such dismal tow results. I read such differing reviews on the Hemi towing on Dodge forums. All the way from I tow a 9000lb 5th wheel through the Rockies at 55 with plenty of power to I tow 5000 lbs and struggle to maintain speed. So I don't know but I have towed a lot with different vehicles and I am very surprised and disappointed with this trucks towing.
