Thanks everyone for your input... I genuinely appreciate it all. Going by the numbers I was going to pass on the camper. Though a lot of folks (saleseman, tire guys and even a camper lot) were saying I could Manage it with this truck but I was looking for the answer of should I! I’m glad I found this forum and you all as a resource. I’m certainly not interested in putting me, my family or other users of the road in danger.. I just can’t believe the ford salesman didn’t take that as an opportunity to upsell me to a duelly... it would have added another ten grand on the ticket for him. Kinda ticks me off too. Ah well, live and learn as the gentleman above said.
This camper is in incredible condition for a very reasonable price... hard to pass up. I was hoping there was some reasonable way around it, but it is what it is.. I will look into some of the above suggested TCs. Back to square one!
