Before I bought my truck new I was very close to buying a 2007 Ram 3500 Laramie DRW 4x4 Quadcab with a 5.9L Cummins, 6 speed manual, and 100k kms (60k miles). The truck was at a dealer and was mint with new tires, ball joints, exhaust brake, etc. The dealer would not move off of $39,500 Canadian (about $30k US) and I just could not justify spending that much on a truck that age. Someone else must have thought otherwise because it was gone 2 weeks later! Mint 5.9L Cummins trucks go for big bucks around here. 7.3L Powerstroke trucks do too, although the prices are now dropping on them, likely because the newest ones are almost 13 years old.
