As mentioned previously, the new (2008+) have lower receiver specs. I recall our 2008 had 1000lb rating and there are no aftermarket hitches to replace it. There have been a few that welding shops reinforce the hitch to handle more.
If you do get a newer one with 6 speed transmission, I would go with the 4.10 gears if I could find one that way. The double overdrive in the trans will still let you go fast without excessive rpms.
