Not to hijack the thread but RoyB, that is a 990 wet bath layout. Either way this should be something you all check. The 1140 and 1150 are even bigger with larger slides. I have owned both and I have some advice for todsme...try and follow me here. Get the camper on a level surface and open the slide about an inch to take the pressure off the seals. Now using your jack control, run the rear jack on the slide side independent of the rest up and down slightly...maybe an inch or two. Look up at the top corner of the slide out. There should be NO deflection of the main frame and the slide...if there is any racking, you have a broken frame. It sounds if to me the weight of the frame is being deflected to the lower frame. Be super careful as you will damage the fillon eventually or it could and will delam. Ask me how I know this? My 2006 1140 broke the frame and did exactly as you describe. They had to remove the entire slide to repair it...no joke I'm not making this up. It is aluminum and can flex quite a bit. Mine was deflecting a good inch or so before I caught it. Lucky for me no further damage...give this a try and get back to us...good luck!
