Just a guess, we had a mystery switch on our Komfort...finally discovered that it, indeed, controlled the front cap 'hitch light'. But the bulb was burned out...:S
Yeah, that was my thought as well but no luck with the test. The hitch light has a switch of its own which shouldn't be problematic but even when the hitch light is on, the wall switch doesn't affect the on/off condition. I may be dealing with a factory wiring shortfall or a prior owner fiddling with things. Thanks for the idea though.
