To me, that's reason enough to not buy the truck. There's nothing wrong with the truck but if you're towing a heavy load, especially over grades, the auto down-shifting is a very valuable feature.
Maybe so but the 2006 was the first year the auto could be mated with the Jacobs exhaust brake. Not much gearing down needed :W
