Not true. The LBZ came out with the new 32 bit processor. Believe me, GM can tell if an LBZ truck was ever tuned by the software they have. This is a full proof way of telling.

They look at the CVN history. The LBZ and older only report the last update (most recent flash), the LMM and newer report the last 10. Flash a LBZ to factory, and the history only shows it as a factory, the LMM shows a non factory tune (or several) with the last one being factory. It also only updates the history if is it is different - flash a factory tune 10 times in a row and it only counts as 1 of the 10 in the history.
