Well let me introduce myself to restlessways:
Hello, my name is Bedlam and am the original owner of 2005 6.0 PSD. This PSD does about 10K miles a year at 19K lbs GCW and 1-2K miles empty every year since new. It has crossed the Rockies six times so far when loaded and the rest of the western mountains more than I care to add up. It has never been my daily driver and used for short trips because it was bought to serve a purpose other than mall cruiser or errand getter.
