I have an 06 F350 dually. It has 239k miles on it. It's completely stock except for a coolant filter. It's reliable and has no issues. I use it to pull my lawn trailer in the summer and plow with it in the winter. For fun, I put the truck camper on and go camping. I do have a Scangauge II connected and monitor the delta between the oil and water temps. That's a key number and will let you know before you have problems. I also monitor the FICM voltage. I know there are probably 6.0's that do have problems but there are many out there that are trouble free. Buy a Scangauge II hook it up to a truck you want to buy and monitor the key numbers.
