Though the 6.0 does not have a good reputation, 2005-2007 were the best years of that engine. Most of the problem engines were in the 2003/2004 model years.
The 5R100 is a great tranny, much better than the previous E4OD/4R100's they used with the good old 7.3 engine.
The truck is a very solid chassis and drivetrain. I far prefer the Ford to other 2 brands, as far as chassis goes.
The truck has very low miles for it's year and the price doesn't sound bad if the truck is in very nice condition.
I would take it to a diesel service specialist with experience in 6.0's and have it fully checked out. Also get the Oasis report for the truck that shows it's warranty service history.
While I would prefer a Dodge 3500 5.9 Cummins in that year instead of a 6.0, you may have found yourself a nice truck.
