The first consideration is whether to proceed or sell it "as is" to someone else with time, skills, and shop space, for what will be a very lengthy and time consuming repair. In reality you did not get a good deal when you bought the camper and in your place I would sell it and take the hit and move on with my life.
With dry rot the spores can travel a great distance and at this point you don't know how extensive the damage is and how much will need to be replaced. No doubt that is why the high quote from the factory as they do not know either and are preparing for a worst case situation.
Also consider that during the time you are working on this project you and your family are without a camper.
Dry rot comes from moisture and even marine grade wood will delaminate with constant exposure to moisture. The problem with the camper is that water got inside between the wood and the skin and then had no way to exit. The only material I would use for the repair would be Advantech oriented strand board as it is engineered to be used for flooring with new construction where it can be exposed to weeks of wet weather.
