I'm going to start off my first post by saying I've been perusing this site for sometime, and have learned a lot...espcially lubing Happy Jacks. My wife and I have had this Hallmark Ute for a year....

I think you have the skills and KansasBob gave some good tips.
I think if you can remove the mattress support/storage box, and the exterior under the the cab over you should get good access for repairs.
Who knows, Hallmark might even send you some additional detailed photos of the structure to help you rebuild. Seems a shame to dump what is otherwise a serviceable camper.
