2006 Hallmark Ute rotted wood repair
I'm going to start off my first post by saying I've been perusing this site for sometime, and have learned a lot...espcially lubing Happy Jacks. My wife and I have had this Hallmark Ute for a year....

I'm still trying to figure out how I can repair these front corners,the front RH corner is the same.
LH front
This piece of plywood is one piece and is the whole wing? (the part that hangs over the box). The area that is rotted is only about 8"-10" square. I do not want to replace the whole piece, because that means gutting all of the cabinets.
As you can see from the picture above, this is also where the chain attaches to hold the camper to the truck. Even with good wood (1/2" is what it currently is), I'm surprised that it would even be strong enough to hold a 2000lb camper from shifting around. I'm wondering if I could make a mod to the front jacks some how by adding a plate that extends back a little.
