2006 Hallmark Ute rotted wood repair
I'm going to start off my first post by saying I've been perusing this site for sometime, and have learned a lot...espcially lubing Happy Jacks. My wife and I have had this Hallmark Ute for a year....

I am currently dealing with the same exact issue with the back of my camper, a couple of inches of rot. I was going to use git-rot and shoot that into the rotted wood but have now changed my mind and will just cut out the rotted wood and replace with a cut of good wood and secure via a piece of metal from below, could you run a piece of aluminum the whole length to secure the two cuts together? I could see that helping to strengthen that tie down.
