Yes, I'll bet some of you spotted the piece of wood that has a water stain, and surely some rot, at the bottom of the rear wall...

I could not wrap my head around this one. Why would an untreated 3/4" thick piece of pine be doing there...exposed to all the elements. My guess is someone used this as a replacement. There was also a 12" piece of wood spliced in to fill the space at the bottom starboard side. This was some of a few other things that appeared to be re-worked areas.
I didn't want to used a piece of treated wood, not knowing how well that would hold up and, not knowing if there would be some type of reaction of the treated wood and the fiberglass panel.
I went to Menards again(I know every fastener they carry..haha), and got a piece of composite decking. It was 3/4" thick, but a little wide. I ripped it to width, and screwed it to the bottom of the floor...as was the piece I removed.
