OK, remember these pictures...



Time to rebuild. I did not use the synthetic material here. I thought that something a lot stronger with very good screw holding power was needed. I decided to use a few pieces of cedar. Once I glued and screwed the pieces together and had them painted, I realized I had the zig-zag stagger wrong. That is why you can see some unfinished cedar. I used the same acrylic deck sealer on the cedar pieces.
These three pieces are screwed to the top edge of the bunk, and then the walls are screwed to the ends of the cedar.



Because most of this was a one man project, that panel lift was the best $140 I spent.
