Now, this project started almost two years ago (Aug 2012). During July of 2014, my better half told me to get this camper done because we are using it on a trip around Lake Superior...The Circle Tour.
We were to leave on Friday, Sept 12, 2014. I finished the project at 2:30am on the 13th, had the camper loaded on the truck by 3:30am, and were on the road by 4:30 am.
We did spend most of the next day at her parents home disinfecting the drinking water system and fixing a few leaks. That evening we were in Duluth, MN spending the night. It was a "perfect" night to test for leaks. It rained cats and dogs with 30 mile an hour winds. I slept through it all.
The next morning the only place I found damp were the two front corners where the soft sides were pulled tight over the corners. I did put radiuses at all four corners because the soft sides were tight. I didn't want to tear anything.
Not knowing yet what I am doing with the roof, I figured I try some of the clear sealant they sell on TV (floating screen door)around the corners.
I'm going to stop for the night, but I'll be back with a few trip pictures and a few thoughts on this project.
