2006 Lance 951 On 2011 GMC 3500 DRW Will It Fit?
I'm considering this combination, are there any issues with the Lance fitting onto the later model truck? I know the truck manufacturers sometimes change dimensions over the years. Thanks.

- I had a 2012 GMC SRW 3500 that I carried a 2007 Lance 1055 11 ft camper. Just put a 3/4 sheet OSB and two rubber mats. Cleared the back of the bed where it curves at the bottom with no problem while giving total support to the bottom of the camper. Did this for four yrs until I purchased a new truck
- Dealer had 2x8 osb planks that he gave to me and I put 3/4" plywood on the top. Add about 1/2" for factory mat.
My aluminium bed is a bit longer than 8' so I put plank up front and additional 1/2" strip under at the rear, so camper/platform in the rear have good support and don't rock on bed ribs. - What did you build your platform out of?
- Unless you find member with exact set up - you will have to measure it.
I have Lance 1161 on my new F350 and had to build 3" platform to clear side railings.
