2007 Heartland Trailrunner Battery Drain / Reverse Polarity

I’ve never heard of a trailer that old having an inverter. What is a red lit switch? The inverter gets a drain?
How old is the battery and what type battery is it? Normally the shore power has nothing to do with the 12v except for the converter trying to charge the battery.
This sounds like a defective battery. Could you be overthinking/trying too hard?
