Read the trollers other posts before you put any faith in what he says about Ram trucks.
I've never heard of any issues on the '09. It was the last of the 3rd generation trucks, really nothing new that year.
That said, I think I would look for a '10, the first year of the new body style, much bigger cab, better interiors, same engine and tranny.
