I'm thinking no newer than 12 because I can do deletes and tuning. My 03 is already plenty of truck for my 15K and 18K trailers so any 4th gen dually should be great. The Aisin trucks are RARE and the tuned 68RFEs sound plenty appealing to me. Craig
You'll be good with a deleted truck as long as you install a very mild tune to deal with the deleted hardware.
Folks it's the new and improved "FISH" responding to a RAM thread. :B
I owned a 11 HO Dually for 65K, oil samples came back with no fuel. Brake controller was about as good as the POS P-2. I highly advise getting a 12 as the brake controller works great.
Having owned a 15 for 45K it has also been trouble free.
Not new but stating facts as usual.... Most 6.7 cummins powered hot shot trucks I see are deleted.
BTW... 45k miles doesn't say a lot. :B
How many miles has your mighty Powerstroke run down the road at close to 38,000#?
I only tow a measly 33-35K combined. I think it would have broke when I towed miles of 14 percent up and down grades. I think most would agree that if I were to have issues they would pop up before now.
My bad, misread your siggy.
