2010 Forest River 26V Cherokee Grey Wolf: Need help

We are going back to a tow behind trailer after having a 5th wheel. We are tired of the chocking of it. We are looking at a V trailer. It seams to have more room inside. I have not seen this type of trailer going down the road or in parks. Is anyone out there familiar with this style of trailer? I've been doing research for negative reviews but, not finding anything. Any help would be appreciated!!! We are going to make a move soon. You can find a picture of this RV on Freeway RV Waters MI. Under search: 2010 Cherokee Grey Wolf. It is a different style of trailer. Thank you for your time. Rose C

  • We like our V front. Ours has the front kitchen. Due to the body sitting on top of the hitch frame, a hitch with chain loaded bars won't work as there isn't room on top of the frame for the chain brackets. We use an Equal-i-zer hitch which is all under the hitch frame rails. A V nose trailer tends to be heavy on the tongue so be sure you are OK with hitch weight on your tow vehicle. Even so we are able to tow ours with a Ram 1500 and have been through the Rocky Mountains many times.
