I don't disagree with the comments about towing a TT in the wind, which is why I have a 5th.
I'll point out a few facts that most overlook. An F150 crew 6.5' box with HD payload package compared to an older gas 2500HD:
It's only missing the full floating rear end of the 2500HD but that doesn't affect the handling characteristics.
OP, if you tow in open country with wind, you probably won't like that combo. Look for a smaller trailer or commit to a 3/4 ton because you're not going to find an F150HD used.

- As heavy or maybe slightly heavier, 6200lbs
- Longer WB, 157"
- bigger brakes
- Same E tires
- Sprung just as stiff
