Wow a 5.9 hater on this board :W who's never owned one no less :B
Good ole Newsw called my 5.9 Cummins a "tractor engine" which I took as a complement :B
That stock 48RE won't handle to power you can dial the little 5.9 up to, but put a Gorend Tranny behind it and it will laugh at a 2013 stocker 6.7.
Of course it still don't need DEF, or have the fancy screen or heated steering wheel or fancy longhorn seats. Ahh what's another $60K for another new truck, chicken feed to some :R
Okay waiting for Dirtyoil or Navydude to chime in :B OBTW Dirtyoil has owned both and I believe his 2005 5.9 had more HP and TQ than his new 2013.
