Hopefully it is that easy, but it all depends on the shop. A coworker has a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 that has intermittent power loss issues. The dealer could not duplicate it, so he filmed it on his camera the next time it happened and showed it to the dealer. The dealer still said he needed the problem to occur when it was in the shop. Some shops will work with you, and some will not.
