Installed the TRU COOL MAX 45K BTU cooler over the weekend. Didn't get to run it around to much, but what I did notice in town was about a 30-40F reduction in trans temps. I set it up in series with the outlet of the radiator cooler heading to the TRU COOL that's positioned in front of the radiator and just behind the grill. Trailer's going on her madien voyage this weekend to the coast, so, excited to see the cooler in it's expected action.
BTW, installed myself. Noted that bigger is not always easier. The size of this cooler made it pretty challenging since it didn't fit within the existing structure of front end. Modified brackets were created out of the steel straps supplied with the cooler's kit. All in all, very happy with it thus far.
