I needed a longer drop with my Suburban over prior F-150. My Reese Strait Line came with the RP54970 and I purchased the RP63971. Lots of places have it, like
Etrailer.
I highly recommend skipping the short wheelbase Tahoe and getting at least the long wheelbase Suburban or Yukon XL. Much more usable 3rd row seat and much more cargo space. Also, the 3/4 ton while rare, is a bargain for its standard RV towing equipment over the half tons.
