What does the Dodge 4500 with the 6.7L get for fuel mileage?
No I thought we established valves are done at 500,000 ? many go longer .
The reason I asked if it has a Allison is the fuel economy will be effected ,not so much by the torque converter as by fewer gears in the allison vs a automated manual.
When I first responded I missed the engine. Ours has the MBE900 which most definitely has an 18,000 miles valve adustment interval for severe service.
It appears the DD13 has to be adjusted at 60,000 miles.
http://www.ddcsn.com/cps/rde/xbcr/ddcsn/DDC-SVC-MAN-0051.pdfOur Dodge 4500s average about 7.5 winter, 9.5 summer without about 2/3 in town, and about 1/3 towing.e
