2012 Heartland Edge M22 How to deploy kitchen table bed

Just wondering if anyone could help me out with trying to figure out how to change the kitchen table into a bed. It seems like I'm missing a piece or something. I just bought it privately and trying to figure out if I'm missing a piece or just having my own issues. Any help would be awesome I would have thought it would deploy like any other kitchen table bed. Cheers:?:h

  • i looked at a video of a 2011 model and doubt they have changed much. looks like it has the tube legs. 1st make sure that there is a lip around the front of the seats, remove the tubes and the table top rest on this lip making a flat surface. use the back cushions to cover the table top and you have a bed.
personally don't care for the tube legs(unfortunately i have them)because the table wobbles too much. i use a short length of 2x4 and a rubber mallet that i use to seat the legs(2x4 on top above tube and wack it) my table is the normal bench setup so against the wall on the corners i use 2, 2x2 cut 1/32" shorter than the table height and attach to the wall w/velcro makes for a very stable table--also we have yet to ever use the table/bed in any of our TT's but could if needed.
  • When I Googled that year and model it looked like it has either a table with folding legs (when lowered fits into the dinette seat base)...or the twin chrome tube legs that remove and you place the table top on the dinette seat base.
