2013 2500 Ram Diesel???

I've posted a few times about different trucks and everyone has been so helpful! After spending most of the day truck shopping and punching in payload/tow capacity numbers in excel to see what will pull our 6444# 34foot trailer we really liked a 2013 2500 ram diesel workhorse....any thoughts? Good or bad??

1st time behind the wheel of a truck and man that diesel made this mamma happy!!
  • We pulled a 7200# TT around for 13 years with our Dodge/Cummins. I don't believe it's overkill at all. What it is is very capable.
You will never complain about having too much truck with that combo.
  • I love my 2013 Ram with the Cummins. Overall a great truck, more than enough power to pull a 10,000# trailer. You will love the Exhaust Brake, especially if you have never had one. I have 111,000 miles on my original Brakes and I live in the mountains. I had some bearings come apart in my Rear End and I have had it rebuilt. The Motor and Auto Transmission are still running just as strong as when I picked it up at the dealer. Every once in a while the radio control buttons don't work and then suddenly they do work??? Just my two cents worth. JH
