2013 explorer and corrosion on hood ??
Good friend of mine has a 2013 explorer and has noticed with 41,000 miles on it bubbling on edge of hood by welds I think. I am pretty sure this is an aluminum hood. I did look up this and found many ...

My '98 F150 had an aluminum hood and never had any corrosion issues with it. Hell that truck is still on the road with over 300k miles on that truck and it just recently had the rear end rebuilt.
