2013 explorer and corrosion on hood ??
Good friend of mine has a 2013 explorer and has noticed with 41,000 miles on it bubbling on edge of hood by welds I think. I am pretty sure this is an aluminum hood. I did look up this and found many ...

I know you're joking. After all your handle is chevman ! ;)
Olds 98's left production around 1996 and Oldsmobile was shut shut down forever in 2004.
If you really do have a 2007 Olds 98...don't let it go...that thing is a one of one. Barrett-Jackson would be interested. :D

Funny you mention that... My dad drove only Chevy's and my mom drove Oldsmobiles. They made a mistake and purchased a POS Grand Cherokee and then went back to a Olds Sport Ute which was a much better vehicle.
My dad kept my grandparents 1971 Olds Delta 88 2dr with a 455. Brown exterior, white vinyl roof, white vinyl seats and black carpet. :B Original ~36k miles on the car and it spent 100% of it's life in a garage. Even the clock on the dashboard still works.
