OK I remember now it was a 1977. He drove it for us to see but I was playing in the Elks band and had to go to practice so he was kidding about our new 1978 mustang so to get him back I said you don't know if your olds will even start.
To end this fine story my wife said "guess what " when I came home. Your dad had to call a tow truck. the mustang turned out to be junk and I ended up with the olds later.
