The OP is referring to the high pressure injection pump, not the in-tank fuel pump. Two totally different parts.

All manufacturers seam to have a lot of parts on back order since their suppliers are producing just enough parts to meet new truck production.

Throw in a major safety recall and it can take months to get replacement parts.

Went Fass system years ago and never looked back.

Why not just get an external fuel pump from Napa and forget the in tank pump? They're under $200 and pretty easy to install.

I see 9 of those on eBay alone and no mention of back order on dealers websites. Just Google the part number and choose a place to buy. BC3Z-9A543-B

If the OP has a 2011, not likely there's any warranty left. Go put a new pump in it and get back on the road.
