Subtract the OPT/ARC weight from the Max Payload weight, and that's realistically what you have left for fuel, passengers, cargo, and tongue weight.
Example: The 4x4 SuperCrew 157" WB with HD package lists 2310 pounds of payload. Depending on options on the truck, subtract up to 788 pounds for OPT/ARC. Then subtract 150 pounds for 26 gallons of fuel and maybe 450 pounds for three passengers. The remaining payload is 922 to maybe 1200 if it's a lightly optioned truck.
