2005 Nismo 4.0 here. Mine is 11,130 total combined for truck, trailer and humans and cargo. I stay at least 300 under so I can climb Sierra's. Truck does go tho. It boggs down to 45 mph on some steeper grades. I do not have fresh water till near destination or when at campsite to keep it lite. I also do not take firewood to keep it light. I have wife put ONLY things we need, not the whole house. My trailer is dry weight at 4130. I figured 4500 since no one tells the truth. Barring any add-ons. So. This is just to give you an idea of the mindset you need to get trailer. I have an 2018 Avenger Ati 20rd model. Before this we had an 96 wilderness 19N with only 500 less weight but I did fill water with that one. You have 5 people, OUCH! Just load and head to local scale. You'll will figure out what you need and don't need, weight Wise. The 5 people could be the killer tho. It's just me, wife and 60# mutt. Good luck.
