- catfishmontanaExplorerThat sounds reasonable on a just released vehicle to me. I would still argue for a lower price of course. Is that cash price or are you also doing a trade?
- Big_RayExplorerWith my trade out the door would $39,500 but I might try to sell it myself
- I_am_still_waynExplorerWith a little research on your part using Kelly Blue Book, NAPA, and car buying sites you can find the exact dealer cost. With that information, you can determine if your price is competitive. Of course, you can just rely on people posting whatever, since they have no vested interest.
With that in mind, I think that is a great price...you should buy two! - mrkojeExplorerThat sounds about right to me. I don't think there are any rebates on the 2013 Ram 3500 right now.

Local dealer around here sells at $200 over cost IIRC, and they ball parked me right at 6k under sticker price. They still don't have any 2013 3500's though :M

I was just looking at the website and it shows a standard rebate of 500.00 up here in Montana. Then you also get a $1000 extra in rebates for trading in a vehicle and then there are many other options such as a $500.00 military rebate.
If you have the Chrysler employee discount then you should be able to buy the vehicle at "EP" price which is clearly listed on the factory invoice on the bottom middle. Then you should take the rebates off of that price. - mrkojeExplorerI just checked what EP price would be on a 3500 4x4 SLT here and with an MSRP of $50,440 the EP price would be $44061 then you would take the rebates off that price so $44061 - $2000 is $42,061. That is a total discount of $8379 of a 2013 with a smaller MSRP. That margin should be bigger on a more expensive truck unless that out the door price is including tax and title/license.

I think you're close to where it should be. Good thing about having a chrylser employee discount is that you have to sign a form that shows what the EP price is since that is what the dealership has to sell you the truck for. From there you can add up all the taxes and accessories etc.. to make sure that everything is legit.
